Why does my truck oem xm radio loose xm signal when near to cell towers

My 2010 Nissan Frontier trucks oem XM radio looses XM signal when near to cell towers. The display shows that there is a channel but there is no audio, sometimes the radio will go to preview channel or show "no signal", non satellite signal works OK in areas near cell towers. I have rebooted the XM several times without any change . This issue appears to have started after the truck was rear-ended in a traffic accident.
