I'd say try and back up the data and then go for a [https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-33032|hard reset] ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpvBW1mtESI|video] if you prefer that way). This will wipe your phone!
Since it seems to be a software issue, that should fix it.
