Soldering point for iPod touch 2nd generation battery

I have a similar problem posted previously in this forum that one of the three soldering points for the iPod touch battery was lifted off the board in the effort to replace the old battery. In this case, it was the middle one which is depicted in the image (click link below) I got from the instructions here to replace the battery. I was wondering if I could jumper the middle portion of the battery flex cable (not shown in the pic but imagine it's there lined up on the three soldering points) to the ciruit test point shown by the head of the red arrow and/or the point indicated on the X to get the continuity required by that middle connection to re-charge the battery. It's been a while since I read circuit board schematics so I appreciate anyone's help. BTW, I was trying to insert the picture in here but it wouldn't let me, so I uploaded it to Webshots to host, hopefully you can see it ok...thanks.
