What is the cable plugged into? I am pretty certain you need at least  a 1 amp charger, any lower and it will cut out. This means plugging it into your computer and some regular phone chargers will fail since they only charge at 0.5 amps.

Have a look at your charging unit and as long as it has an output of 1.0 amps or above you should be fine :)
