Water not hot enough for perfect espresso...no crema neither~

My Rancilio Silvia has stopped to produce hot water enough for a good espresso. Never was hot enough but at least I was getting a "decent" espresso. Now is a different story. I did reset the thermostat by following video instructions but the little red bottom didn't move IN at all so that was a fiasco and resulted in no change at all with the water temperature. If I can't repair this problem with a DIY approach, is there any place I can send the Rancilio for help with this issue? Thank you!
