I cracked the glass and display on my 38mm Apple Watch series 1 and some of the display still showed but it didn't recognize touch. I went ahead and got a whole new display and installed it but even though the display came on the touch still did not work. To make sure it wasn't a display issue i installed the display on a functioning Watch of mine and it worked just fine. I tried doing a soft reset in the Watch with no luck. Not sure what else the issue might be but hoping to figure out what other parts are needed.
