Hi all.
I've inherited a 2nd hand iPhone 5 and I was informed it was just the screen that needed replacing but this isn't the case.
The phone when charged will make the torch shine permanently. Also, the screen backlight comes on and stays on but will not respond to anything. The power button works as when the battery was completely drained it recognised the input by displaying the red battery symbol.
It is a new screen so I know it's not that, and the water damage pin on the frame is white so don't think there's been water damage.
Any thoughts? Screen replacement is as far as my knowledge goes with iPhone repair.
