Hey Floyd: if you still have he original battery, look at the rating in  Whr and mAh. Then look at the same info on your new battery.  If your new battery has a lower rating, that is your reason for the faster drainage rate.  A lot of places sell lower mAh batteries to be able to sell at lower cost. Phone batteries do the same thing.  I hope this helps. Ken
