@fkmattern, floyd, Not positive, perhaps after a few charge/discharge cycles the battery may perform better. When you say battery draining faster than normal you must remember to consider all the Apps,etc. that may be running or running in the back ground. Have all your information ready, and contact Ifixit parts with your concern if you feel the battery is not functioning satisfactorily. Good luck.
