@shejskaw, Sheila, If it is the battery pack it self that is corroding, consider replacing it as it could be damaged/leaking, perhaps do a search using your model# for replacement. You can use the link below to open/access the battery compartment/contacts and give them a good cleaning. The eraser end of the ink pen is slightly abrasive and works well, scrub it across the battery contacts, a little work and patience and you should be able to remove the corrosion. blow or gently shake out any eraser shavings. Qtip/soft cloth dampened with 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol will also work to clean terminals of corrosion. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
