Well, I just read all these comments because I have the same issue, and reading them got me thinking. It randomly charges to full 100% and then can be unplugged for at least a day. So it's not the battery.  But it is getting less and less, the more I fiddle with the plug, it will work sometime. So I cut maybe a 1/16 of an inch off of tip of the rubber plug, with a razor, just cut it against the metal plug, rolled it inbetween my fingers. Basically to plug it in a little deeper, and low and behold, it's now charging on the first try.
