First try headphones. If there is sound, likely the speaker, speaker connection, or logic board has issues.
If there is no sound on the headphone,
Reboot your tablet into recovery mode, as follows:
• Hold 'vol down' and 'power' buttons on tablet
• Release 'power' when samsung image is shown
• Release 'vol down' when the two icons are shown
• Use the 'vol down' to navigate between the icons
• Highlight the left icon (box)
• Press the 'vol up' to select it and boot into recovery mode
In Recovery mode, 'vol up' and 'vol down' move up and down in the menu, and 'power' button selects.
First try the 'wipe cache partition' and reboot.
If this doesn't help, follow the instructions above then use the 'factory reset' option instead. (REMEMBER TO BACK UP FIRST!!!)
If this doesn't help, there likely is a problem with your logic board.
