it happened the same to me, in my case the problem was the power switch, i had to gently press it downwards while i was moving it to "ON", that worked for, such a pitty that i had to figure it out because i paid for it... but at least it works.

The thing is that if i press it a little bit upwards it will turn OFF, so it is a "contact" problem, you need to press it downwards while you turn it on so it stays well placed in order to make the right contact and turn this on.
