Do you know what you want to do when you check the pump . Most checks are done from your fuse or relay. If your looking for power at the pump then you can do a test of the wiring heading into the pump. If you have no joy with the wiring. then it is best to drop the tank . I have had to repair several cars that the owner thought it would be a good idea to access the tank by cutting the floor under the rear seat . droping the tank is not that difficult as long as it close to empty . usually 2 straps and the filler tube the rest will lover to the ground with the tank .If you do cut an access hole the interior of the car will smell like gas for a while .
