So, My laptop will see 1-2 wifi signals (I live in a large neighborhood so on all my other devices I see 10-15 networks). Occasionally my own network will appear and if i try to connect to it all I get is "unable to connect". Ive tried troubleshooting and all I've gotten is "Connect to a Network" Ive tried
* Restarting my router
* Restarting my laptop
* System restore
* Done multiple "Fixes" with CMD. No changes from that
* tried updating the drivers (didnt work, no new software)
* multiple different troubleshooting
* making sure the adapter is enabled
Nothing has worked so far. I know its not the card because networks will still come up from time to time. But it will come up with 1-2 bars even when the router is in the same room.
Does anyone have any info/fix on this? or is my old laptop finally dead at this point? Thanks
