-Sam Harrison, That is probably unpredictable to answer, there are a lot of variables like was the phone on when water damage occurred (shorting components), did the owner keep powering on and charging the device(shorting, overheating damaging bga chips, etc.). Water can work it self under all sorts of places and then the corrosion starts also, especially from salt water. It sounds so far you have been getting phone,s with out much corrosion damage which in a lot of cases is not feasible to repair. Sorry I can not answer all your questions but hope some.
