-@princemc , Matthew, If your LG G5 has had water damage, you should seriously consider tearing it down using (link 1 tear down guide), then using (Link #2 guide) to clean the liquid damage/corrosion from being caused on the connections/ board/ volume button ribbon cable connections, etc., this may even correct button issue and if not, at least you will have been able to stop the corrosion and can change the button. Good luck.
