margaret shaffer , You do not state your year and model, but I will give you some ideas what would cause this power window issue. If vehicle equipped, check position of window lock out switch and swith it position and try. Recheck all fuses under hood and interior with test light or DVOM to ensure all are OK. Faulty pwr win. relay switch out relay with a known working replacement, main window switch/control panel faulty, test for power to the main switch if no power wire could be broke/pinched in the harness between door and frame opening. All power window motors faulty(would be very unusual but could happen). Below are some trouble shooting guide links that may help you diagnose the problem. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
