@ksfuller , Kaleb Fuller , It could possibly be defective battery/charger or cable/charger port and some forums state it could even be a software issue fixed by doing a factory reset. Check your charge port for dust/lint/debri and check for damage contacts or loose fitting port(pick out lint with tooth pick carefully or blow out with compressed air). Try another compatible charger/cord to see if the problem might be defective charger. Find below a link to a partial disassembly guide so you can access charge port to inspect and perhaps test with DVOM and to change battery if need be.  Link #2 is your manual which has factory reset procedure if wanting to try that route first if you can. Good luck.
