Wii U Crashes / Powers off when Wii Remotes connected.

Ok this is kind of strange, possibly due to some water damage, my Wii U will now crash whenever Wii remotes are connected (not sure about Pro remotes / classic remotes but likely the same) Sometimes they do connect successfully but if I was to re sync them the console crashes. I've looked up motherboard breakdowns and I've singled my guess on what part I need to replace to one of 3 chips on step 10 of [guide|11796]. I have a strong feeling I need to replace the Broadcom BCM20702 Bluetooth 4.0 module, but I am not certain this is even the problem. Playing the console with the gamepad alone causes no problems and 0 crashes. Help please.
