Horizontal & Vertical Grid Lines on Display Screen

My ZTE Max Suddenly Has Horizontal & Vertical Lines Going through the Screen. Touch Screen Works Fine, All Other Asspects of the Phone are Working Properly. The Phone was NOT dropped causing this to happen Nor did it get Wet, What Could Have Caused these Lines and How Can I Fix Them?
