Battery is stuck in place and having a problem removing it.

I have a MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Model A1211 and am trying to remove the A1175 battery from the backside of the laptop . The battery is dead and is stuck for which when pushing the two latches on the back to release the battery ,it is inbedded. I took the laptop to the Apple store today and their repair center recommended that I contact you for suggestions . On your site their is a complete step by step listing on how to remove the back cover though it indicates that one must remove the battery first and then the ram memory. Since I cannot remove the battery., what suggestions or recommendations would you have to solve this problem . Will await for your comments and reply with respect. Thankyou .
