I recently moved from Australia to United Kingdom, about a month ago I unpacked my laptop for the very first time in seven months (had to be shipped). Battery was dead (fully charged when I left Ozz), so I let it to charge for 3 hours. When I started the PC it will go on for one sec then off again! So I then I hold down the power button for 10 (with adapter unplugged) secs and it loaded up to the desktop, BUTTTTT then a hour later it played up and I had to restart it! It's been like it for months, that it takes me hours to get it started and once on, no problems until it gets turned off . I also now know that, the battery reports to the mainboard something is wrong with it so it powered off, REALLY ANNOYING as it has some 'tech' in it that prevents it from running without a 'all is clear' battery signal. Right now I'm not happy that I spent $2500 for an good PC with bad battery and would like help and support to help to get the replacement part, or whatnot. I'm in the UK also now and hope that doesn't stop things
