I had the same problem, and after weeks of searching the web I eventually bought an iCloud locked apple watch off eBay, since they're rather cheap (I got mine for about 100$). I would not recommend it 100% though, since iCloud locked devices have a high chance of being stolen.
I repaired mine in august and havent had any problems since, its a rather simple repair. I would recommend buying thin adhesive strips though, because my screen keeps loosening from the frame.
