Do you mean the green and red arrows in your in call history log?

The green arrow indicates outgoing calls made from the phone.

The red arrow indicates incoming calls to the phone, with it switched on, that were not answered, i.e. a missed call, before being redirected to whatever option that you have chosen for unanswered calls.
