Deadspots and Calibration issues?

Hi

I'm interested in purchasing this Wacom Cintiq 24hd from someone off ebay.

The the problem is that there seems to be a deadspot about an inch to the right of the display which causes the calibration to be off.

I wanted to know if this could be fixed?
