I seen a great video of a bloke repairing an iPhone 6 Plus by taking out the logic board, flipping it around and placing electricians tape on the reverse of the digitizer connector pins. I have since tried this procedure and it's been 100% successful in repairing intermittent touch issues. Shame there's no such procedure for the iPhone 5c
