Getting data from SSD in dead MacBook Air

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

My MacBook Air 2009 (MC234LL/A) finally died - the beep codes tell me that the RAM is not registering as installed, and as the RAM chips are soldered to the logic board, I think this is the end for this MacBook.

I would like to keep some of the files that are on the SSD.

Is there some way to set up the SSD as an external hard drive? It is 1.8", and has a ZIF connector.

I can find External HDD enclosure kits for MacBook HDDs - but I can't find one for this drive.

Did each MacBook Air model have different ZIF connectors for the SSDs, or would a solution that worked for one model's SSD work for another?

Many thanks for any help or advice you can give.
