That is to say: 1) Are the memory cards the same form factor? 2) Is the current consumption of the 256GB card supported by the 11" Air? 3) Are the interfaces otherwise electrically and mechanically compatible? 4) Is there any software lockout on the 11" Air of additional memory beyond its current maximum of 128GB?  The plan would be to purchase an 11" w/128GB and a 13" w/256GB; swap the memory cards; sell the 13" on eBay and keep the 11" w/256GB?
