Why is 2/3 of my screen is stuck in a loop?

I plugged an auxilary cord into my phone and now 2/3 of my screen loops whatever is on the screen causing lines acrossed the screen constantly. It happened as soon as the aux cord was plugged in. I removed it but the condition has stayed. What can I do to fix this?
