Do not disconnect, iPod not read by iTunes, Restore using iTunes

I HAVE MULTI-LAYERED PROBLEM.
My iPod Nano 7th gen is not recognized by iTunes. The ipod nano icon does not show up at all.
It eventually have this "Do not disconnect." white screen flashed on the ipod.
I tried holding the Home and power button. It ends up with "Restore using iTunes." with other languages on the screen.
When I unplug, it just stays with the white screen.
I've been reading posts about this but often times it's about one specific issue I enumerated here. So I guess there are no posts about ALL OF THESE happening at the same time
I already downloaded the new version of iTunes.
