Could someone use a DMM to measure continuity between the actual mic and the plug that connects to the headset's mic port?
I have a dead mic and only the black wire gives me reading (connected to the innermost part of the 3.5mm plug). To which of the remaining parts should the red wire connect to? At present it's not connected to anything.
The plug is molded so I guess taking it apart would be destructive.
