What adhesive to bond screen to frame?

I am looking for help and advice with locating the correct or suitable adhesive to bond a replacement screen to the frame of a Kindle Fire HDX 7.

I have tried using 3M 9448A, 0.15 mm double sided tape, but this soon fails and the screen starts to lift.

I have tried using a single layer, and two layers, both have the same results.
