I would open your laptop and then use a blow dryer with low heat setting, and blow warm air on the components be sure not to overheat them. Then I would wait 48 hours and power it on and see if it works.
I would also agree that if it was just the keyboard not working sure replace it, since more than one thing is not I would look into it a little more before doing the replacement.

+I honestly think it will be fine after you let it dry a few days. My friends spilled kool-aid on their Mac and I cleaned it up and let it dry it works fine.
