My screen on my Nikon d5300 is black. It will not turn on. I can't see any of my setting, menu or anything on it. It does take pictures still.

My screen on my Nikon d53 nook00 is black. It will not turn on. I can't see any of my setting, menu or anything on it. It does take pictures still. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it may be.
