I have a Amana SRD25VPE and it all of a sudden stopped cooling itself. The bottom part of the freezer will maintain some frozen items, but the upper half of the freezer will not. The right side on the other hand will not receive anything.
At first I thought it was the frozen coils, so I defrosted them and noticed the Evaporator fan wasn't running. I thought this was the issue, so I replaced the Evaporator Fan Motor. After installing the fan, it started to spin, so I closed everything off and thought it was fixed. But still nothing is getting circulated.
After that, I tried defrosting the whole freezer overnight to see if ice was built up in the vents. The fan kicked on after turning it on, some air seemed to be coming out. But after checking it out after an hour, the fan stopped and air doesn't seem to be circulating still.
Any ideas?
