I opened my box of oculus cv1，but I found my oculus is almost like this

I want to try to repair it ,so I tear down it following the guide （[guide|60612]），but I don't understand the step 5。How to take out the frame with stretchy black lycra？Here is my picture(http://i.imgur.com/8F9a4cG.jpg
)，does the nail with red drawed need to be taken out？ How to take it out？
