How do I change the driveshaft support bearing?

The driveshaft support bearing has separated on my Equinox.  I have removed the driveshaft, but am unable to remove the u-joint "ears" from the splined shaft so that I can pull off the old bearing and install the new one.  Any ideas on what I can do?
