I have the refrigerator listed above (Amana ARS2667BW) and it does NOT feature a "Dispenser Lock" button as labeled. However, the dispenser is having a problem where it sometimes decides to run on its own, dropping ice all over the floor. After a while, the dispenser will lock and a message to that effect is displayed on the screen. What I want to be able to do is lock the dispenser manually so that I can avoid this problem. Is there a combination of button pushes to either lock the dispenser, or put it in diagnostic mode, or something that could be used to lock the dispenser? Yes, I know I could get it fixed, but it's very intermittent, and the fridge is over 10 years old and I'm sure repairs will be very expensive. As a stopgap, I just want to be able to lock the dispenser at will.
