I have an original Kindle Paperwhite, and it doesn't turn on.

I've tried the 30 second reboot after leaving the power cable in for at least 30 minutes, although the LED is yellow still.

The screen is blank, but has lines; here is a picture: [http://imgur.com/Yd4job0]

Is this fixable with a screen replacement?
