@ram66 that hesitation is usually caused by a fuel issue (either not enough or to much) as well as vacuum leaks and multiple other things. Check for any obvious air leaks on vacuum lines and your air intake. Other than that it is best to get the OBD checked to see if it throws any codes. If it is the throttle position sensor you would get either a P1122 Throttle Position Stuck Closed or a P1123 Throttle Position Stuck Open code and your service engine light would be on.
