You guys are trying to hard to make it look new and the point is to replace glass only due to hazard of broken glass. Only way to get it properly done is by freezing with a nitrogen freeze machine. Using primitive tools with this technology is only going to be a bandaid. Period. You need to leave film under glass and clean it well to assure no debris in between glass.
