Hi my headphone socket is not working. I have changed out the small socket PCB assembly but on further examination it looks like the ribbon feeding the socket PCB assembly Is damaged, there is a small black spot on the ribbon feeding the socket PCB.
Can the ribbon be changed or is it part of another item?
Looks like there has been a spike and the small black spot maybe a burn mark a cross 2 of the lines.
The onboard speakers still work, it's just the headphone socket that doesn't work

Hi my headphone socket is not working. (And yes I have changed the PCB socket). On further inspection after changing the PCB socket assembly it seems that the ribbon feeding the PCB socket assembly has been burnt.
