Hi,
-Here is an image taken from the Gopro Hero + LCD which shows that if you navigate with the Power/Mode button to the Set Up mode icon, you should be able to access the Touch Display icon, select it and then presumably turn it on or off.

-I assume that you have a Gopro Hero + LCD as the Gopro Hero + doesn't appear to have a Touch Display.
