You don't need a conversion lens for this camera. It has a very wide zoom range: at the wide angle end, it's wide enough that you can fit a group of 5 or 6 people in the frame at only 6 feet out, at the telephoto end it has enough ''poke'' to get a head-and-shoulders portrait at 40 ft, which is twice what my rather costly DSLR with my also not-quite-cheap tele zoom can manage.
