Hi George
You will need some skills and tools to replace the charging port on this device. You need heat gun to heat the lcd/digitizer and then separate it from the phone (most cases the lcd brake if you haven't done it before).
If you manage to take it without breaking the screen it is easy to replace the port. Here is video on how to do it:
