Hi @bob123456789op I have the guide and part to replace your screen but before you take apart the device, you should use the controller for a few days I know when I got my xbox one controller and it was brand new one to, the buttons on it were extremely stiff but after a few days they loosened up. If you still want to replace the touchscreen though feel free to cause what I posted above is just a suggestion. Here is the guide that you will find very useful and detailed [guide|22684] and now the touchscreen replacement. [product|IF297-024] I highly recommend that if you don't have the tools for that the repair guide to get those tools by hitting the yellow bar on the guide to buy the part and tools for it they will make the repair go much smoother. Now if you want to improvise the only suggestion I can give you is instead of using a guitar pick you can use an old gift card. I hope this you in your repair.
