Hi,

There is nothing embedded in the rubber footing, but right beneath it, theres a plastic bored that it attached with 4 screws. Right beneath that, there is the power and speaker driver board. The bored also attached with 2 wires and a cable, so be carful when removing the plastic part as the board comes out with it.
