Hello I got an Iphone 5C model A1507 ! It hard some searching issues, but i didnt pay too much attention to it thinking it was my network provider's fault! I changed the screen that had a crack! And when I did assemble everything, I got stucked on apple logo, so I connect it to iTunes, and it asked me to restore it!
When I tried to restore it, it restores to 75% and then stops and says "this iphone could not be restored, error (50) occured" on Mac, and the same occurs on Windows but with error (1).I went to few forums, tried all the first safety steps, but nothing solved my problem!
So I was wondering, is it software or is it hardware related?
I dismantle it to clean the logic board with isopropyl to see if I could get some results!Nothing changed!
So I went to few more forums, and found out that it was related mostly to the logic board, mostly because possibility of unsoldered chip baseband (responsible for the network signal)! It says also it could be the SIM card reader, but most of the time, it is more often linked to the baseband chip! The problem is that kind of soldering is called micro-soldering , and it's not any shop next door, that can do that, you need proper equipment to do that!
So my question is simple, does someone knows addresses of shops doing this kind of works, from reliable sources?
(Updated with I hope correct syntax, sorry I am French and I typed it from my iPad)

When I tried to restore it, it restores to 75% and then stops and says "this iphone could not be restored, error (50) occured" so I check youtube video, where they all say put it in DFU mode.

So I was wondering, is it software or is it hardware related?

As I could not succeed at first, to put in DFU mode, I thought maybe something wrong with the home button (in fact i was not doing the correct manip, here is a video how to do it right, to get the DFU mode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wATfKL2gi-4, at least it works for my case)

So I looked how to enter DFU mode without home button, found a program called redsnow that could do it, and for that I needed the ISPW file, that is the iphone firmware, and you got to chose the right one depending on iphone model and iOS.
as they asked if you want to download the GSM or CDMA version, depending on your phone model number, so I checked mine, the model is A1507, a GSM number, I have checked it here
But Itunes should automatically download the ispw for you if it recognise the iPhone, and you should be able to find it in this location:
-
-
~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
-
-
but when I compare the ISPW that itunes downloads, and the one I should get for my model I can see that iTunes download the version for the CDMA model!
-
-
I have tried the correct ISPW for GSM model and restore from pressing Alt + Restore to select the ISPW, but it says the iphone could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible!
-
-
So my question is could error 50 come from the wrong ISPW? And why the right ISPW (GSM) is not compatible?
-
Or is it hardware related?
-
I will try to dismantle it and to clean the logic board with isopropyl if I can get some results!
