i am getting a folder with a half face and a question mark blinking i have replaced the ram with new 4 gb sticks and i have tested the hdd in my windows pc and it was a healthy partion as well i have tried to boot it up with a disk and a flash drive with a os x in it and still the same screen and i get also a page if i hold the option key i get a refresh icon and a arrow key i choose the arrow key and i get the time and date i choose to mac-boot option and i get the invalid memory access so could it be the cables that are connected to the hard drive or is it the fans i get a low to high speed on the fans every 4 seconds its a slow down and a fast speed rotation any help would be very thankful from me

"i have tried to boot it up with a disk and a flash drive with a os x in it and still the same screen"

If it is not detecting those disks or drives, it could either be something to do with the logic board, seeing it is not reading your internal, or external

I would double check the drives to make sure they're running the compatible software for this mac

As well as try SMC and PRAM:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 For SMC

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063 for PRAM/NVRAM

If you are just running one drive, you could open it up and try the other bay, it could be something with the cables as well

To get to the drive, try this:

[guide|1952]

Good luck!
